What do you charge?

You will receive a customized quote based on your specific project. Some projects may be charged by the hour, whereas others are more intensive and require a per page fee.

How do I submit information for a quote?

Please have person responsible for hiring Christine | Urban email with the following information, with the more details the better!

• Type of project: process/procedure, software documentation, hardward documentation
• Length/size of project: page count, letter-size
• Is this a new document or a revision?
• Any media: graphics, tables, graphs, video?
• What file type: Microsoft Word, Excel, RoboHelp, FrameMaker
• Printing/publishing requirements: CDs, DVDs, printed material, bound, online
• Project deadline
• Any other information that would be helpful to complete your project, such as a company style guide, the document must comply with regulatory guidelines, where the document is in the review process, if the product the document is for is finished

Is there a contract?

Yes, the signed proposal states our agreed upon terms of the project.

What are the payment terms?

• Small projects are required to be paid in full before work begins on the project.

• For large projects, 50% is due upon signing the proposal and prior to work starting on the project, with additional installments paid according to milestones outlined in the proposal. The scope of the project, fees, and due dates are outlined in the proposal.

• Christine | Urban accepts personal and business checks as well as PayPal. All checks must clear the bank prior to starting work on the project. PayPal usually clears in 2 business days; checks 3-5 business days.
